Look at this beautiful sun streaming through my window this morning I can't wait to spend some time in Vancouver this weekend with my mom! I get to see him and her and hopefully walk through Stanley Park in the sunshine. Or snow. We'll see. Either way, it'll be great.
My darling has left to play nerdy games with his friends which leaves me alone on Friday night. Never having exciting plans ahead of time, I find myself cleaning my little abode. Here are the shameless pictures.
Kitchen: Oh Lord, If you don't hear from me for awhile I'm under this pile of dishes. And then there's the bathroom:Bed needs to be changed/made: Clean laundry to put away:It's probably time to take down the Christmas cards: Listening to Owen Pallet on CBC tonight. Owen writes the music that is in my soul. Have a listen.
Here's how I spent my New Year's Eve. Eating. Eating things I didn't have to make.
Appys in the afternoon: Bruschetta Evening Appy: Scallops in butter and rum Organic steak with roasted veggies: Store bought cheesecake. Ok, I totally cheated on these. I'm going to use the excuse that there were no dishes left to make anything with in the kitchen after Ry was done cooking.
